Time to talk favorite sides, totals, and props for the national championship, Miami and Indiana.

0:09.8

We do it with Mike Emery and Tom.

0:12.1

And Emery, I'll start with you on your favorite side.

0:14.6

Now, at BetMGM here, we've got an eight and a half point spread of 47.5 point total.

0:19.7

Hit us with your spread here, though. I'm taking Miami plus

0:23.0

to eight and a half. This number was seven and a half earlier in the week, and I just still find that

0:28.2

and this number to be mind-blowing because Miami fundamentally and philosophically and from a

0:35.5

mentality standpoint is built a lot like Indiana. They don't quit.

0:39.4

They will fight you from start to finish. Now, I love how Carson Beck has played in terms of

0:44.5

managing the game here in the postseason. He still is missing deep balls. He still is

0:49.0

missing some open opportunities for big plays and points. But I like that he's showing a little bit of that short memory that you need to have success in when you're in the midst of a playoff run. And Miami's defensive line and offensive line, they have an advantage in my opinion in this game against Indiana. I know Oregon got blown out and I know Indiana is great, but I felt like Oregon's offense did not want to be there once he got punched in the mouth and tasted their own blood.

1:13.4

That was a wrap for them.

1:14.7

They won't get that for Miami.

1:15.9

Miami may get punched in them out, but they're like, oh, yeah, good.

1:17.7

Now we've got a fight now, and they'll go back and forth.

1:19.9

So I just see this from being a closer game.

1:21.9

Give me the hurricanes plus eight and a half.

1:24.5

Mike, I liked that entire take. What I will say is when you looked at the look ahead

1:29.4

line before Indiana dismantled Oregon, I believe it was in that four and a half, five and a half range,

1:34.1

and then it grew to six and a half, and then seven and a half and then eight and a half. And at a certain

1:37.6

point, you got to push back and look at the other team. I also like what Emery said about

1:42.3

Carson Beck. I think Carson Beck has looked way better than anybody anticipated him looking in the college football playoffs specifically.
