to the public. I also really like that because we started this perilous podcast journey by doing

an overall episode. The episode number of our podcast is one off from the actual film. So this is

episode three where we're talking about the second film, which actually comes before the first film.

So the chronological confusion continues.

You know, a Lucas trait in a lot of ways. Just release them how I want.

That's all we got to do. Well said, well said, well said. Well, yeah, we are going to be looking

at Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom released in 1984. A lot of great stuff in it.

Conversations spill out of this movie in a lot of different directions, Joseph.

Yeah, yeah, exactly. Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom, like you said, released in May of 1984.

It's just under two hours runtime. A story by George Lucas, a screenplay by Willard Hike and Gloria

Katz, directed by that guy, Steven Spielberg. Willard Hike and Gloria Katz, fairly significant

in that they were, I think, Lucas's go-to writers when he had an idea and just didn't want to sit

down in right before he had his desk. That was a door that we all know from the Phantom Manus behind

the scenes. They wrote American graffiti sort of within for Lucas. Infimously and allegedly

did some work on the original Star Wars film, obviously Temple of Doom, Radio Land Murders, Howard
