There's a lot of discussion about Indiana head basketball coach Mike Woodson.

He's expected to step down. Some are saying at the end of the season. Some are saying end of the weekend. This is according to different sources, one of them being ESPN.

It does raise the question if you're Indiana. So I heard, I was listening to Kevin Bowen's morning show this morning coming in. And they had a stat, which is unbelievable yet totally believable, which is IU has only made, has not made the NCAA tournament three consecutive years since Mike Davis transitioned into Calvin Sampson as the head coach at IU. So it's

basically been 20 years since IU made the tournament three consecutive years. So basically for 20 years,

say for a couple years with cream as the coach, your program has been a complete and utter dumpster

fire.

And you have to wonder with all the resources available to IU and all the benefits at

their disposal, how could you consistently be that bad?

Well, I think the one thing you got to think about is the identity of the school right

it has been associated with basketball for so long and one of the worst things that they could do

is be boring and that's what they are right now they're not good but they're not also completely awful. I mean,

they're kind of middle. They aren't? Well, for IU standards, they're awful, but if you compare

them to other schools, they're kind of middle of the pack. Are we talking about, are we comparing

them to Marion? I mean, like, you're comparing them to themselves, right? Well, I mean, they're four, what are they? They're 14 and 10.

I mean, that's pathetic.
