under Norengramodi, is capable of campaigning that can take India in a completely different direction

than heretofore.

The word populist has many interpretations across Europe in America everywhere it's used.

Generally it's associated with a nationalism and a rising of the underclass.

How is it perceived?

How is it explained by Congress in India?

Well, you know, the Congress manifesto and the speeches of its de facto leader Raoul Gandhi, they point to a very kind of hard left or far left economic vision, which in my view would be quite disastrous for India.

So for example, they are talking a lot about cash handouts.

They want to give cash handouts they want to give cash

handouts to every poor woman in India and that's a lot of people

uh... they want to

uh... and uh... pension reform scheme in the military.

Again, that's a very, very big outlay.
