racist, terrorist mob as critical to American history. But before we get to that bigger topic, we'll start

with a few headlines. Well, when we left the subject of Biden's coronavirus relief package last

week, the new Senate budget chairman Bernie Sanders was advocating that Democrats used a budget

reconciliation process to pass this $1.9 trillion package, and that reconciliation process would require only a

majority vote in the Senate rather than 60 votes. So it appears that Democrats are preparing to

take this route with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer

announcing Monday that they had started the process by filing a joint budget

resolution for fiscal year 2021. At the same time, Biden did meet with a group of 10 Republican

senators led by Susan Collins of Maine, who are countering with a small $600 billion

package, which omits direct aid to cities and states, takes away the minimum wage
