1992 book published by William of Buckley Jr. called in search of anti-Semitism

It was occasioned by

The anti-Semitic comments and writing of a senior editor at National Review Joe Sobrin

Pat Buchanan's also in this book. It's basically one of the sort of

Signal moments of Buckley supposedly playing his role as the kind of

Arbiter of conservative polite politas the hygiene

Of the conservative movement. Yeah right the establishing of guardrails

Though what you find when you read the book is that he really

Doesn't awful job of of wrestling with the question of anti-Semitism and the Neocons and Israel

Which is what he set out to do in the book

But to have that conversation about that book and about that episode of the 1990s
