Whether you live in a major metropolis, a medium sized city, or a rural township, noise

is an unavoidable part of life.

While trains, planes, and cars are some of the louder and more stress-inducing sources

of noise in our environments, quieter noises also have the potential to work our nerves.

We asked you how noise affects your daily life.

I live in Brooklyn, New York.

Since 2020, there have been helicopters lying over our neighborhood day and night, and

we don't seem to be able to do anything about it.

It's very disruptive.

I work from home, and the noise of the helicopters really interferes with my being able to do my

work.

It can be very frightening because it sounds like it's really close to the house.

I actually moved from where I lived because all I heard all day long while working from

home was a high-pitched noise, which few other people could hear, so it wasn't really

planes going overhead, but just that particular frequency that got to the point where I needed

to wear headphones and finally decided to move.

I live on a two-lane road from downtown Clearwater down to Pasagrill.

We have so much noise, fire trucks, motorcycles, old cars, classic cars.

Yes, it's entertaining, but it needs to be brought down to a normal level.
