sides of the political spectrum. Even Democratic candidates over the past few decades

have tended to take a more hard-line stance on immigration leading up to elections.

Just a few weeks ago, President Biden signed an executive order to cap asylum requests at the border

during a surge.

I've seen actions to bar migrants who cross our southern border unlawfully.

A move the New York Times called the single most restrictive border policy instituted by any

modern Democrat. Even though he'd condemned a similar measure

under the Trump presidency back in 2018.

So in this election year, as the debates around immigration ramp up as you're hearing sound bites and rallying cries.

They're poisoning the blood of our country.
