Jenny Alderson has transformed from a wild slip of a girl to a confident young woman.

Growing up on her family farm, Heston Grange,

Jenny has often chosen animals in the land over schoolwork.

Drawn to the vocation of farming, she's often found in the fields or the stables

or in the company of the many sheep, bulls, cats, and dogs that populate Darabee and the Dales.

And in a veterinary drama such as this one, she's a kindred spirit to James and Sigfried.

After the death of their mother, Jenny and her sister Helen have formed a special bond,

one that's closer to mother and daughter than sisters, as Helen sought to help bring up Jenny

while helping their father Richard tend to the farm.

By season three, Jenny and Helen's dynamic shifts dramatically when Helen marries James
