Mad over True Crime. I'm your host Heather Ashley and today's case is out of Chicago, Illinois.

I'm Altox Sucks, so let's dive in. 19 year old Marlene Ochoa Lopez was beautiful, bubbly

and determined, but first and foremost, she was a mother, a wife and a mother. In 2016,

at only 16 years old, she welcomed her youngest son into the world alongside her high school

sweetheart Yvonne. And by the next year, after a beautiful wedding, they were husband and

wife. They were navigating marriage and parenthood at an age where most people's biggest concern

is what their friends are doing that weekend. But they were doing it well and with the help

of their very supportive families. The two continued going to high school, working

towards graduating and starting their careers. When in 2018 at 19 years old, Marlene found

out she was pregnant again. They were now going to be parents of two boys and regardless

of their age, the couple and their families were excited to welcome another little baby

into the family. Throughout her pregnancy, Marlene continued attending Latino youth high

school on top of working and by late April of 2019, just a couple of weeks shy of her

due date, she was tired. On the morning of April 23, 2019, she left the house with a

full day of school ahead of her. She said goodbye to her husband, neither of them knowing
