these are just some of the games that we will not be covering

in the Igen UK Podcast Alternative Games of the Year awards.

As we do every year, we have convened, three of us this year,

some years we do all of us, but it turns out that's a massive shag to organize so we couldn't be asked.

So yeah three of us have come together I am joined by Alex Simmons

Hello and Jesse Gomez hello and we have put together some alternative awards kooky little ideas about what we wanted to talk about from this year that might not be included in the huge number of game of the Year awards the Igen already does.

I would just like to say that my awards are not kooky they are definitive thank you

very much.

Definitely kooky. Yeah, so Igen has put up all its nominations for our games of the year.

There is a lot to go through. It's been a weird year I think like yeah I don't think there's been a lot

where I kind of go I don't mean in terms of the pandemic in terms of games just the

boring world of games I don't feel like there's been too much of like

groundbreaking. It doesn't feel like the year when there was like Red Dead and God of War and

like some, you know, stuff that was really vying to be like huge

blockbuster changed the entertainment medium type stuff yeah it's that it's that tricky

end of a generation start of the next where you know arguably we've seen some of the best iterative stuff and people

squeezing the most out of those the consoles from last gen but then obviously still finding their feet with this

gen. Yeah. Or then ignoring consoles completely when it comes to Cyberpunk. So,

Yeah, there is that. But I do feel like we've got a good list of good stuff in here.
