Her research director Sandy Peterson sent me an email about the Duke story and I'd like to read it because it's a good launching point

She said, the walk out at Duke and my dinner with a genuine soy boy. Zar as you've seen by now, a bunch of entitled Dwebs at Duke walked out on Jerry Seinfeld

speaking during commencement on Saturday. It was a few dozen graduates who walked out chanting Free Palestine.

As they left, the rest of the crowd started chanting Jerry,

so maybe there's hope for our nation.

This brings me to dinner on Saturday night.

Eric, that's her husband, and I went to dinner at our friends.

I'm not going to say their name.

When their 25-year-old son was there, he lives in in Austin where he's been since he graduated

from the University of Texas with a dual major in we'll call them fine arts

degrees.

As you can imagine, that's a poster child of a winner-take-all market and jobs are a few and far between. I did give him the number of a friend of ours who is in

in film which is heritage film my friend Chance McLean, who makes, if you go to Heritage, your Heritage

Film, he does biographies of people's parents to show at a family reunion or to save for the grandkids.

But of course the son never reached out to him.

I think chances lucrative business of creating personal documentaries is to crass for this young man right now.

Because you know when you're 25 you can't if you're a lawyer and you're out of work, you can't go to work for so-and-so.

They don't do the right kind of, they don't do it good enough.

It's funny how young people can be so snobby about what they're going to do and then you find them at 35 and you go, huh?

Amazing the things we do to pay the bills, isn't it?
