And Jason, what I want to know is, what got you started on this journey?

Like many health practitioners in the field, it was my own health challenges.

And so that sent me down this new trajectory from an engineer to a health practitioner

helping people with their chronic issues.

That pursuit led me to sort of the idea of going around the world to speak with centenarians

from all different cultures, and interviewing them, and figuring out what their life was like,

what their culture was like, what their environment was like, to help bring some of that wisdom back

with the idea of modern science backing what we see in the real world.

And we can also show what healthy aging looks like, because most of us in the West

don't know what a healthy 95 looks like, what a 98-year-old woman who can till up her soil still

and pick oranges off her tree and read a newspaper without glasses.

We don't know what that looks like, I've never seen it until I had to go to Okinawa

to speak with a woman that was just like that.
