There's a Norwegian proverb that says,

a hero is one who knows how to hang on for one minute longer.

That's often the difference between those who make it and those who don't,

or the people that stick with it long enough for success to present itself.

Creating success is like a wrestling match, and at the end of the day it's a game of endurance.

And if you want to win, if you want to really see it through, you've got to be able to hang on,

for just that little bit longer.

You've got to be able to go farther than other people.

That's the only way that you're going to be able to get what you want in life.

At the end of the day, the math of that just makes sense.

If you let go, if you stop, you know there's no way that it's going to come to you by accident.

Life is not a lottery.

Life is what you create.

It is quite literally what you make of it.

But as Hans Sayley says,

it's not the stress that kills us.

It's our reaction to it.

And when you're thinking about holding on and the stress that comes with that,

when you're thinking about fighting and being in a wrestling match and locked in a battle to create something,

what we think about is stress.

We think about the pain, the difficulty.

We think about whether or not we want to endure that thing.
