Welcome to wealth, power, and influence. A couple of weeks ago, actually it's longer than that, couple of months ago, I got an email out of the blue by some kid at UCLA who said hey was interested in maybe doing

an interview on you for you know here's what we're about we have a show and this show

is uh... is designed to try and spotlight local

entrepreneurs who have kind of bootstrapped their own businesses and I know

who you are and I'd love to have the chance to interview you and he said here's a couple of things

that we've done in the past and I didn't think much of it and I responded we had the

book that was getting ready to come out and I said yeah you know this is pretty timely I said

I'd be happy to do it and just let me know when and then he had the audacity to come

back and say to me well I just wanted to do a quick 15-20 minute pre-interview with you.

Now I don't know, some of you don't know me that well, but I do value my time more than anything else on the planet and I the idea of doing

a pre-interview before we then do the interview seemed like a little bit of overkill

but in talking with him and and Amy talking back and forth she said you know what
