22 Americans. That's the death toll as of I think that was at about one o'clock

Central this afternoon. I haven't checked since then. There may be more added to that.

There are a number of Americans locked down there right now

that are trying to get out. My wife and I used to own a weekend farm

out in Carmingen, Texas, which is an hour and a half north west of Houston.

And we bought it from a guy who was on the state supreme court named John DeVine.

John DeVine is a fundamentalist evangelical Christian. I think they homeschooled their kids,

big family, sort of you knew your quintessential, Catholic, conservative, lawyer, judge,

these sorts of things. It was a wonderful home. It was, you know, I'm not a Ouija board kind of guy,

but there was love in the home. You could see it when we went to visit the home, you could see it

afterwards. And it's a big family, big Catholic family. I bet he had somewhere between five and

ten kids. I'm not sure. They were everywhere. But they had stair-stapper motorcycles. I bought

some of his motorcycles in the purchase. Anyway, so I knew John before, but not well, but we

would get his mail and he'd come and pick it up. And anyways, he's been around Texas politics

a long time. He was on a trip. As you probably know, a lot of Christians go to Israel.

The homeland. There's, there is the history. There's the faith. There is the viable. There is,

well, they got pinned in. And as I understand it, because someone who's in a prayer group with him,

I've lost touch with John over the years. And most people, just because I don't go to get out

much, that they were able to get them out last night. But there are going to be more of these.

And unfortunately, some of them are not going to make it out alive. There are people who've been

taken hostage by Hamas. Now, you will see on the university campuses, you will see groups

...
