Adalia is the hurricane's name and it's set to make landfall today in the state's big bend area.

It's now a category for storm with a hundred and thirty mile per hour winds.

Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis and many other officials are urging residents to evacuate coastal areas.

Storm surge could reach 10 to 15 feet in some areas of the big bend.
