almost a 27-year veteran.

And with me tonight is another veteran of the NYPD, retired NYPD sergeant, and professor, Mike Geary,

Professor of Criminal Justice at Alberta Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut.

You know, I'm back in Florida, and I told Mike while we were off the air, a funny story.

I was waiting in Westchester Airport, and a uniform Westchester cop comes up to me and says,

you're Bill Cannon from police off the cuff.

And I thought it was so funny.

You never take it that you're going to be recognized somewhere and I was actually recognized in an airport

of all places. That's great. It was funny. I don't take those things lightly. I was amused by it,

but I humbled. I should say I was I was humbled by it. So my to know people are looking or

watching. Yeah, yeah, it feels good to know. Yeah, people are watching it.

And fondly, yeah, that did make me feel good.

You know, I could go to Florida and I flew here last night.

It's like two hours and 45 minutes and you're in a different climate.

Same time zone, but a different climate.
