The International Criminal Court not recognized by the United States and other

important countries. However, in these last days, dominating the news because of the

decision by Karim Khan, the chief prosecutor, and what I'm told was a panel of aid,

unanimously voting to go ahead with at some point an arrest warrant for the Prime Minister

of Israel and the Defence Minister of Israel based on what

looks to be extremely odd evidence.

I welcome John Bolton, former National Security Advisor, former ambassador to the United Nations,

commenting for the Washington Post on the International Criminal Court's decision now and previously.

We recall that during your time in office at the National Security Council, the International Criminal Court

Court made a decision in a previous iteration, a previous prosecutor

to move against people from the United States, citizens from the United States.

My memory is that it was about

Good evening. Well, people should know of all the United States is not a party

to the treaty that created the international criminal court and normally when you're not a party to a treaty, you're not subject to it.

That's the difference between being a party and not being a party to it.
