We're coming out of a little Notre Dame jersey scrimmage weekend.

We've got some comments from Fighting Irish Head Coach Marcus Freeman on today's show.

How is your weekend, Vince DeDario?

It was cold, but it was good.

Had to actually get out and cut the grass yesterday.

That took longer than necessary.

But it took a long time because it was nice and thick,

which has not been the case this time of year in the past.

And so I give my fertilizing company a little nod,

a little hat tip because I complained last

year and they seemed to have fixed it. So that's good. Nice and lush and thick now. Yeah. And all that means

all around out there. That much more work, you know, like, yes, I went from thinking I had like a

couple of weeks ago, I went from thinking, or maybe a week ago, I went from thinking

I had about two weeks before I needed to mow. And then after all that rain last week, it's like,

oh my gosh, it was a jungle. And I just, I don't, between the cold and the wet, you know,

obviously I was waiting for it to dry out. Fortunately, we've got some wind blowing around, but it's been cold and like, I'm not going to bundle up to ride my mower

out there. When it warms up, I'll get for the first time. It was, so I'm a push guy. I don't

have a rider for numerous reasons, mainly because I don't have any word of story.

I thought you had a writer for a while.
