Big day yesterday for Notre Dame women's basketball.

And, you know, I'd say another day at the office for Hannah Hidalgo.

But yesterday had a little bit different feel to it.

That was the steel that she had at the end of the game that almost sealed things up.

Things got a little bit dicey when Notre Dame was trying tobound after Louisville fouled there at the end,

but the Irish ended up beating the 11th ranked Cardinals 65 to 62 yesterday in Louisville.

They did win at Yukon and at U.S.

They won at UCon two years ago. They won at USC last year.

In terms of maybe significance, you know,

like overall significance, especially this late in the season,

I think it's right up there.

I'd put it at least top, you know, top four, top five probably. Well, and I think those other games against Yukon and USC, you know, Notre Dame had a better on paper team at the time. And I think it was expected to be kind of a, a shoot, not a shootout, but like a, you know, a best on best kind of a situation, let the best man win kind of a deal. And then this one, I don't, like, I didn't look at the spread or anything like that, but, you know, Notre Dame shouldn't have won this game on paper. They should not have won this game. It was at Louisville. Louisville is a top 10 team. You know, they got a really good player, obviously, who was back from injury,

Notre Dame's not supposed to win that game, and they did.
