Glad to have you with us on this Wednesday, busy day in and around Notre Dame land as we get into the show to start things off here today.

It is a typical Wednesday is typically our mailbag day on Budweiser's Weekday Sportsbeat with Irish Breakdown.com.

But today we've got some comments from Notre Dame head coach, Marcus Freeman.

We've also got some comments from Lauren Lando, who is in charge of the performance operations for Notre Dame football.

They used to call him the strength coach, but he is the, not him.

That's what,

you know, what the position has commonly been referred to over the years is the strength coach,

but he is the director of performance for the Notre Dame football team. Lauren Landau, we'll hear

some of his comments later in the show. We've got one specific comment that we're going to hear from Rob Hunt as well.

He is the director of sports medicine, basically the medical side of the support staff, the performance staff there at Notre Dame.

And he updated a slew of injuries today. So we will hear from Rob Hunt as well coming up here in just a few minutes.

But, you know, and again, we'll hear many comments from Marcus Freeman.

But we have an unfortunate long list of injuries to update as Notre Dame gets ready for spring practice,

Vince. The list, quite frankly, is much longer than I thought it was going to be,

just based on little this and that's that we had heard. Jesse and I did our pre-spring

breakout player draft yesterday,

and there are many players on this entry list who we picked in our breakout draft yesterday,

who doesn't sound like they're going to break out this spring after all of a sudden done.

I was going to say, do you have to completely redo your draft now because half your team is off or gone or whatever? You might have to. Those are the rules of fantasy football, right? It's like, that's true. So here, go ahead. I was just going to say, like, we can, let's go through who all is out and, you know and limited and all of those different things.

The list is long but distinguished, you know.
