Jesse, I just realized this is your first show in what, a week and a half, two weeks or something like that um last show i did was a we

and we out with vince on thursday so oh that's right that's right 12 days ago maybe yeah almost two weeks

almost two weeks first show since the big game. And it's officially been a little

bit more than a week now since the offseason began. And we've got plenty of offseason stuff that

we're going to cover on today's show. We're still kind of waiting, you know, for any official word

on the Chris Ash hire and all that kind of stuff,

as we understand that it sounds like that's happening,

much to the dismay of many Notre Dame football fans,

but we haven't got any official word on that.

But I mean, a ton of stuff has still happened in the last week.

We had the transfer portal news with Sam Pendleton, Pat Coogan, Rocco Spindler, Ty Chan, Dion

Colsey, Jaden Thomas, you know, and a couple other, you know, walk-on type guys as well,

hitting the portal. Al Golden leaves, of course, for the Cincinnati Bengals,

Chad Bowden leaves for USC.

When you compare what's happened so far at the start of this off season,

how does it compare to last year's off season,

which to me got off to a little bit more turbulent start with the Chancy Stucky news and, you know, the wide receivers like Tobias Merriweather and Rico Flores hitting the transfer portal, Chris Tyree, like is one worse than the other? What do you think?

Yeah, I think last year's situation was definitely worse than this year's situation.

I would classify, you know, this year's situation as kind of growing pains or maybe success
