Summary

If you’ve been praying for restoration, fasting, forgiving, and still feel like nothing is changing, this episode will help you understand why. Many spouses want breakthrough in marriage but have never actually encountered God. Without an encounter, we stay bound to the same cycles—bitterness, offense, pride, self-righteousness, and unbelief. This conversation exposes what really keeps couples from transformation. It’s not always the spouse who walked away, filed for divorce, or stopped communicating. Sometimes the real barrier is unrepentant sin, tolerated compromise, or the refusal to let God confront the parts of us that still produce the fruit of the curse.Scripture shows that when bitterness takes root, it defiles everything it touches (Hebrews 12:14–15). When self-protection replaces surrender, we trade the fear of the Lord for the preservation of self. And when we reject rebuke, we also reject the wisdom that could have saved the marriage. This is not about another strategy or technique for communication—it’s about allowing the Holy Spirit to bring transformation through encounter. Because once you truly meet the living God, you don’t just change your perspective on marriage—you change your nature. If you’ve reached the end of your strength and still desire to see your covenant restored, it may be time to stop asking for relief and start crying out for encounter.

that is immune to outcomes of a marriage dictating the condition of how you live out that
