I want to go to a concert, even though my husband is in the hospital.

My husband has been in the ICU for over 50 days from complications of a surgery.

This sounds serious.

I've been by his side literally every single day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. since he's been here and took a leave from my job to do so. Whoa. We are financially okay. By the way, this comes from Passion of the Pizza on the best of Reddit updates, subreddit. So, this has been a very tumultuous hospital stay with many complications. He's finally at a place where he's stable, but due to his surgical site, he is still in the ICU.

There's a band coming to town in a month that has been my favorite since middle school, and they don't tour very off. It's kind of a big deal that they're coming through. My plan would be to hang out with him during the day and then go to the concert at night. Honestly, really quick, I think that's fair because I don't want her to burn out because she spent all of her time. You deserve a little concert, girl.
