Summary

For those that are new around here, I release bonus episodes that serve a niche part of my audience, I have listeners of all faith backgrounds that listen to the podcast. This episode is coming from a christian perspective so if that’s something that doesn’t fit what you’re looking for, check out the other episode that dropped this week or join me back here next Tuesday for a conversation that you don’t want to miss! Why do so many marriages hit their breaking point between five and eight years? In this episode, we dive into this critical question with Chelsea Damon, who has coached thousands of couples through their toughest seasons. Drawing from her own decade-long marriage and professional experience, Chelsea reveals the deep-rooted issues like selfishness, pride, and anger that often undermine relationships. Join us as she shares powerful insights and practical advice for finding a better way to live and love, even when the road gets tough. ----------------------------------------------------- About Chelsea Chelsea Damon is the author of I Thought This Would Make Me Happy and Together with Christ: A Dating Couple's Devotional: 52 Devotions and Bible Studies to Nurture Your Relationship. She is the author of chelseadamon.com, a website where moms and wives are encouraged in healthy, Christ-centered lives and relationships. Damon and her husband, Josh, met while attending college, where they grew in their faith and dated for three years. They were married on the windy coast of Washington in 2013. Throughout their dating and marriage relationship and into parenthood, they've been learning what it means to live loving God and loving others in a self-love world. Today, the Damons have three biological children, are foster parents, and spend their time looking for new places to hike and explore beautiful South Carolina.
