missing and murdered indigenous people advocate since 2017.

My best friend was murdered in 2017.

Her murderer was sentenced to prison and then another one of my best friends was murdered in

2020. So her murderer was sentenced just last year. So after they were both

sentenced I was like I don't know what to do with all of this knowledge that I've gained through those trials and through their you know learning about the legal system here in Alaska so I started advocating for other families in Alaska and I think I've advocated for upwards of 50 families now just
