My guest, Morris Graves, grew up fatherless and with an absentee mother because she was working

two or three jobs. He had no adult supervision. His mother was a strong disciplinarian, but still he grew up increasingly

rebellious and wandered deeper and deeper into darkness. His sister became a drug addict.

He believed his cousin was responsible for introducing her to crack cocaine.

One night, Morris, full of hatred and rage, shot and killed his cousin.

Morris was arrested, put in jail, facing first-degree murder charges.
