Summary
For years, the house stayed exactly the way it had been.
After losing both parents within six weeks, she became the one handling the impossible parts—funerals, paperwork, decisions, and a home filled with sixty years of memories no one wanted to touch. Her brothers struggled too, but the weight kept landing on her shoulders. And even when the house technically changed hands, nothing inside changed at all. The furniture stayed. The photos stayed.
