Today I've got for you three hours of R slash I Don't Work Here Lady Stories, starting with this

brand new story. I'm not here for the funeral. I was jogging in a small town, parked downtown.

After my jog, I walked into the town cemetery. It's a small, picturesque cemetery on a hill dating back to the 1830s.

It's still active.

They occasionally do burials, but I didn't know that.

I was wearing colourful running gear.

I didn't look like a mourner or like a cemetery employee.

As I was walking, a car pulled up next to me.

The driver, an elderly man about 85, looked at me

angrily and barked at me. Where do we go? I thought, what does he mean? Why is he angry at me?

Why is he even stopping here? He just kept barking. Where do we go? Which made it half for me to think

about what he meant or what to say.

Finally, I said, I don't know, and walked away.

This happened many years ago.

Now that I'm older myself, I realize that he was probably confused and upset,

looking for the burial site for a funeral and not able to express himself.

Okay, thought that was going to be funny.

Turned out it was actually kind of sad.

But that does remind me, I actually need to go for a run myself.

My face on the building, but somehow I'm not the owner.
