I quite like to blow my own trumpet.

We only do it every so often.

Somebody wrote to me yesterday.

I thought it was quite funny actually and said, you're obsessed with figures. I thought,

well, of course I am or a commercial radio station, Dimbo. What do you think we're going to be

obsessed with? Marmalade sandwiches? I don't think so. And then they said, but you're always

talking about the audience figures. No, no, no. I'm always talking about them when the new set come out, and the spike, which we talk about at length on this programme, becomes so obvious that people on other radio stations write in and go, damn you, Steve Allen. Why do you keep getting this spike? And the answer is because you've chosen very wisely. So yesterday was a good day, as they say. So congratulations to you, and thank you for telling your friends about us.

In fact, even people in the building are listening to this programme.

Mainly the lawyers, but, you know, at least it's people listening to the programme, so they all make up the figures.

Again, another one who's sort of dressed up.

I think this must have been celebrity juice.
