I'm back.

I'm so happy right now.

I am so freaking excited and happy to finally be speaking into a microphone

for real and speaking here with you. I'm back, baby. It's been, oh, it's been a minute. I have not,

by the way, this was not planned this

hiatus that ended up being what september october november three months this three

month hiatus was not intentional this was not the plan this is just what life served up to me

on a silver platter and your girl

surrendered to it. And here we are. I honestly was not even wanting to record in these circumstances

either. This is just also what life served to me on a silver platter. My nails, if you see that, oh my gosh, my nails are

freaking trash. I'm missing the nail on my pointer finger. Not that it matters because this is a

podcast, but we are going to be repurposing these videos for marketing and social media content.

And I wanted to look good. You know, like I wanted to look like a proper host

with her stuff together. And I just don't because yesterday was Christmas as I record this.

We got snow. Our nanny has been sick. I got sick at the end of last week. We're about to leave town.

You know, and I had a moment this morning where I was starting to feel a little frustrated and

stressed about this, particularly this podcast, because I've been looking forward

to this moment for so long and I just wanted to make it so good and look good and all things.

And I was like, damn, it's not going to be like exactly how I want it to be.
