So I've decided to take today for myself, and I'm going to play you

one of my favorite past episodes. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this rehashed moment of Kennedy

saves the world.

Welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

It is the most special happy hour we've ever had.

I told you we were going to have a bear-themed cocktail for Fat Bear Week, but we have an actual bear in the studio.

I'm trying to not be fat. I mean, I'm trying to get back on the house. Okay. Trim bear. Okay. This is Brett Bear. So we have America's Most trusted newsperson and Brett Bear, both in the studio. No, that's good. Fantastic. So this is a cocktail, a mocktail, of course, called a honey bear.

Okay.

But it's spelled B-A-I-E-R because if you were making a real honey bear, you'd make it with bourbon.

Ah. But if I were making this with alcohol, I would make it with scotch.

So what I've done is, according to the recipe, I made a citrus sage simple syrup with cane sugar, honey, orange slices, and sage leaves.

And so you reduce that for about an hour and it makes this wonderful simple syrup, which we have here.

So I've measured it out.

So we'll do a nice pour for each of us. There's that.
