So there I am, sitting in what you're talking about, Willis.

When I get the news that I can't go to work today.

So here's the story I want to tell.

When I started DJN, I was a teenager and I had to go through a booking agency to find any work.

And by that time, the business had gone ugly.

It had gone sour.

The check's always bounced.

Oh geez.

And so I ended up working for, you know, two, three months at a time without getting paid.

And not knowing that's how show business works in a lot of places and you have to get out of it.

Is that an experience you've had anywhere pin?

Oh, yeah.

And so I told everybody about that.

That was thinking about going to that company.

That was going to be a problem.

And that caused problems for my future bookings in that town for a very long time.

And then when I moved out here, what I didn't know is that that guy had become

a food and beverage manager for one of the two duopoly companies here in town running the most of the casinos.

And I could not get a DJ job in a mainstream casino.

And that is why I have nothing to say about podcast networks.
