When I hear this question I get really worried because I wonder if the person asking is at a point

or nothing I say is going to matter because when you say it'll be worth it to me it means that I see

the marriage as of no value right and I just feel like happy or if I just didn't have to deal with it

I'd rather have nobody. I don't know if that would last to be honest but that might be the way

you feel on your way out the door. I feel my marriage is basically hopeless being married to a

non-Christian of what's our word we're using. I can't think of the word. Or unequally yoked that's the word.

So we have nothing in common we're both miserable. Can I get a divorce if I never remarry?

Because it would be really worth it to me to do that. I think that comes off of the

Corinthians verse where it says women you can leave your spouse but then unless you you know

remarry him that'll take itself. So first Corinthians 7 does have a very similar to that but

I'll try to court it off the top of my head. It says a wife should not separate from her husband

should not but if she does let her remain unmarried or be reconciled. So it's interesting how that

happens that it doesn't sound like she would have got kicked out of the church for it exactly

if she did separate but she was told not to but people do and then they're like well then remain

unmarried. So in a sense I'm like hey if you do separate sometimes remaining unmarried and you're

the cause of the separation you're the one bringing up it's to stay separate but here's the thought

the reason for the command seems to be because the marriage should be restored. The heart behind it

right is to restore the marriage it's not permission you're allowed to separate if you don't get

remarried and that's kind of the question that it's couched that way. So I think that that's

it's kind of like if your kid goes I'm going to I'm just going to stop going to high school

is that okay if I get a job and part of he's like well if you stop going to high school you're

going to get a job but no it's not okay right it's neither of these things are okay we're just
