Hello my friends welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you are ready to get your

minds aligned with the truth of God's word. That's why we're here that's what we're

doing day after day here on the morning mindset. He had I wonder if you would help me out

up the third book in a series of fiction books that I've written and they're all themed

around a medieval type time frame when some people are fighting dragons and it may

say sound like a kind of a tired illustration but these books have really been used

of God so far and I just finished up the series now want to get the word out. If you could

about our identity in Jesus Christ and by that I mean who has he made us to be because

of his work at the cross. You see when he died at the cross he did more than just forgive

our sins. He gave us a new identity a new way of looking at who we are and a new place

from which to live in this world and that's what we're looking at. Today our passage is

2nd Timothy chapter 1 verses 6 and 7 and Paul is writing to a young man who's taken on a role

of church leadership something he was a pastor in a local church something he was like an apostle

sort of representative to that church and was helping them to get things lined out in an orderly way

but Paul is writing to him in this book to encourage him to give him instruction to mentor him

as a leader in the church and here's what he says he says for this reason and we're not going to

get into the reasons he's talking about here but we want to look at specifically what he's
