these stories that people have sent in to me. Today we're going to be looking at

Philippians chapter one, verse number six, again, looking at this issue of our

identity as believers in Jesus Christ. Friends, we turn to the scripture to find out who we

are. We don't turn to the people around us to have them identify us and help us

understand who we are. We don't turn to this world and the various things going on around

us for some sort of information about who we are. We don't even turn to our own hearts.

You know how people say you need to look inside, you need to get in touch with

yourself. Friends, that's a bunch of junk. That's not what the Bible says. We are to

go to the scriptures to learn who we are. Today we're going to learn that we are

destined. Now, you might ask, we are destined for what? What do you mean? Well, we are

destined for God to complete His good work in us. Let's look at Philippians chapter

one, verse number six. This is the Apostle Paul writing and he says, I am sure of

this. Okay. Now, what are things you're sure of in life? I mean, the law of gravity

might be an example. Are you sure of many things? Paul was very sure about what

he's about to tell us. He says, I am sure of this that he who began a good
