Hello my friends, welcome back to the morning mindset.

It is time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God, and we're

doing that by looking at the scriptures.

Today we'll be looking at Colossians chapter 3 verses 2 through 3, so if you have the

ability to take out a Bible or a Bible app, please follow along with me as we look at

this passage.

Before we get to that, I want to remind you about not a needy person, that's the name

of our nonprofit that we've developed, to enable believers who have been blessed with

financial and tangible resources, to come alongside those who are not so blessed and who do not

have the needs that they really do need at this very time.

Alright today Colossians 3, 2 through 3 is our text, and I'm just going to read it and

then we're going to go back and consider what it has to say for us.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

Before you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Now this whole thing of setting your mind, did you realize that's your responsibility

before God?

God has given you this instruction for your own good and for the ability to provide the

ability rather for you to live a Christian life.

You can't live a Christian life when you're focused on the things of this earth, on things
