Chapter 2, go to verse number 42. I want to start a brand new series this morning.

I want to talk for the next few weeks around the idea of what we believe.

I had all of this comes out of conversation.

It's amazing how much of our life stems out of conversation.

Make sure that you're always having stimulating conversations, conversations

that profit your soul and profit the direction of your life. And I was talking with someone

recently and this person was telling me about some friends they have that don't believe in

what we believe in. And so through a number of a series of events, we were able to sit down and I was

able to talk to them about what we believe, and they were able to tell me what they

believe.

And after this, it was an amazing conversation, by the way.

And after this had happened, the person that I was talking to said, you know, she said, if Zoe were to

ever have like classes on what we believe in, she said, I would attend. And it got me thinking about

how many of us, myself included, I still want to know what I believe. I'm still challenged in a shifting culture.

In a shifting society, I'm challenged to know what I believe in.

Who do I believe in?

And what do I really have a sound theology?

Theology might be a big word.

It's just it represents what you believe about God, your study about God.

I want to spend the next five to six weeks talking together as our community about what we believe in.
