Today I've got for you a brand new subreddit that I've never covered on my channel ever.

And I've been doing this for over six years now. In fact, almost seven years next week.

It is our slash casual conversation. The friendlier of reddit where people post things that they've

sort of just realized or that have just come into their mind and they want to know if other people

have experienced these sort of things if they know about them just the general casual conversation

we'll get into it you'll see exactly what this subreddit is all about. But I've had

a look through and it's nice. It's friendly. It's relaxed and it's interesting. So I hope you guys

enjoy. Without further ado, there are lots of posts to look at in this video. Let's get into the

first. My British friend thought he could do a day trip to the Grand Canyon from L.A.

And his reaction to the map was priceless. So, I have a buddy flying in from the UK next month. He's never been to the States

before, so he's super excited. We were on a call last night, going over his plans for his week

in Los Angeles. He casually says, I was thinking on Tuesday, we grab coffee, drive over to the

Grand Canyon for a hike, and then head back to West Hollywood for dinner. I didn't have the

heart to tell him immediately. I just pulled up Google Maps and I shared my screen. I had to explain

that the quick drive he wanted to do is actually a 16 hour round trip. I told him,

mate, that's basically driving from London to Berlin just to see a hole in the ground and turn

around. He went quiet for a solid minute and just said, oh, the movies make it look so close.

We had a good laugh about it and And now we're going to go to

in and out instead. Question, has anyone else had to explain just how big the US is to visitors?

I feel like I crushed his dreams. Well, I can say from experience as someone who has been fortunate

enough to go to America quite a lot in my life, my grandparents live in Virginia that I didn't know quite how big the
