Matthew Henry, a great Bible commentator of a bygone generation, is with the Lord now.

Some woke theologians have recently decided to take him to task, and I almost chuckled

reading some of their comments because these shallow thinkers today have so

little to compare to the substance of a man like Matthew Henry who truly knew God and walked

with God and loved the scriptures. His commentaries have been a tremendous blessing and helped to me but matthew henry as a boy was challenged

to spend time every day in psalm 119 in fact his father had all the children in their home to meditate

on a different verse of Psalm 119 every morning.

So much so that they would go through Psalm 119 as a family twice every year.
