And since it's Friday, Duff McKagan has not missed one Friday. He always delivers the joke of the week.

And Chris Jericho. It's Duff McKagan calling me. I'm in Echo Park, California right now.

You know, I'm in hipster belt. Speaking of hipsters, you know what a hipster didn't drink the coffee?

It was a cool, yeah.

Thank you very much. That was a good one. I laughed a lot of it. I want to love Duff's description of where he is and what he's doing.

I love the hipster accent. It wasn't cool yet. Great surprise. Duff told a funny joke and also Duff surprised fans that Slash is gig here last week on Talk is Jericho 499.

Slash played Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Duff got on stage with Slash Miles Kennedy and the conspirators at the Hollywood play him to perform.

It's so easy and Slash's sons band classic act opened the show. Slash Miles and the conspirators are wrapping up a run of dates before Slash and Duff head out again with Guns and Roses in a couple weeks to do shows in the Philippines, Jakarta, Taiwan, Hong Kong.

And for the first time ever, Honolulu, hopefully they're working up more dates and maybe some new music in the future. Slash didn't rule that out when he was on Talk is Jericho last week as a matter of fact, he kind of alluded to it.

Check out the episode if you haven't yet and I want to apologize for the audio issues that we had. Some people made some complaints about it and it was there was some issues.

But the reason for that is we're trying out a new contraption where I can record my show over the phone and that is not Slash Columbia right now.

So I was still working progress and made the audio a little bit slushy, but we'll get it right and still a great interview so go check that out and get ready to check out what's happening on today's show.

Nothing funny about it. It's actually quite creepy. We're heading to the swamps of the Louisiana bio with cryptozool just MK Davis to talk about our search for the Honey Island Swamp Monster.

This is a preview because MK is the expert who filmed Chris Jericho hunting monsters with me for the travel channel which debuts this Tuesday night on the travel channel October 23rd 10 Eastern 9 Central.

We're going to we're going to talk all about the special today right here on Talk is Jericho. Then I need you to tune in as we went looking for the honey on Swamp Monster, the Ruger Roo had encounters with voodoo priestesses, ghosts paranormal activity.

Some very strange stuff happened as well during that shoot that really really freaked me out. It's not just another paranormal show. It's Chris Jericho hunting monsters and we're going to talk to the cryptozoolologist who accompanied me MK Davis talking all about the Honey Island Swamp Monster, Bigfoot, the Ruger Roo and many, many more. Here we go.

Okay, so we're here in New Orleans in Louisiana searching the swamps for for swamp monsters and I'm here with cryptozool just MK Davis and we've had a few adventures so far.

Oh, yes. I guess kind of before we start talking about the various monsters in this area, how does one become a cryptozool just then explain exactly what a cryptozool just is?

Well, I kind of backed into it. I wasn't intending to become anything. I was an astrophotographer. I had a large telescope to space photos and I came across a couple of frames from the Patterson Bigfoot film that were just incredibly clear.
