This Give Back Award has been one of the hardest and most fulfilling jobs I've had as host of this

podcast. Hard because there have been so many wonderful nominees and it's tremendously difficult to pick just one.

So thanks to all the great mentors and fellow ambassadors of our sport that have willingly

given of their time to help me read the entries and select those most deserving

of our grand prize.

And before I outline those criteria, I just want to mention of course this is for the grand prize for our

200th episode celebration. It's the Browning expold rifle in 6.8 Western with a

loophole VX 5 3 to 15 scope on it Spartan precision bipod a red kettle

sling and a hundred rounds of Browning ammunition with a

175 grain long-range Pro bullet. Very cool package set up exactly the way that I

would put together a rifle to carry into the backcountry.

And we did this just as kind of a cool way to give back to say thank you to our listeners and those great mentors and

ambassadors of our sport and of course all of those of you who have been

following along know that you couldn't enter to try and win this rifle

yourself you could only nominate someone you felt should win it and I've been just

amazed and delighted at the outpouring of gratitude and respect I have seen and felt in the nominations

that have come in.

There have been literal hundreds of them.

And again, just thanks to all of those

after I narrowed down to what I felt like

was the best several dozen, and distill it down to this selection that I'm going to present you
