Hi, everyone. Welcome to the Sports Spectrum Minute. I am Jason Romano. And today we go back five years

all the way to May of 2017 in a conversation we had with now Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfro,

who at the time was with the Clemson Tigers in college.

And if you know anything about Hunter Renfro's story, this is a guy who it felt like he played

20 years with Clemson in college.

He was there, I think, five.

But he made his mark on January 9th, 2017, when Clemson won their first national championship

in a very long time in college football, beating Alabama, 3531.

And it was Hunter Renfro, quite a two two-yard touchdown pass and basically entered his trip into

college football immortality. He caught that touchdown pass with one second left, basically a

walk-off touchdown pass to help Lee Clemson to a national championship. Now, at that time,

we were getting him just a few months after he won that

national championship and talked to him about his faith, about his coach, Davosweeney, and about the

moment when he catches that touchdown. But for today, the Sports Spectrum Minute, we're going to

bring to you what Hunter Remphro said about his faith journey and becoming a follower of Jesus and making that

I remember she was saying a prayer.

She was walking someone else through a prayer to accept Christ.

And I kind of just latched on it and said it myself.

And so that's when I said I become a Christian.
