this season we've struggled to really light

the torch paper early in games

and get on that front foot and put teams

under the caution it didn't

necessarily feel like it was a game that

necessarily needed Liverpool to start early

but it always gives you that little bit of a lift

it definitely gets the crowd engaged especially those three o'clock kickoffs. It gets the crowd up for it and feeling the momentum. And it just kind of puts us on the right footing for a game. And especially because prior to that, there wasn't a lot of, obviously there wasn't a lot of time played, but you could very clearly see that the way that west hand wanted to set up they wanted to be

very compact they wanted to leave no space he wasn't really pressing and engaging in Liverpool when

we had the ball but in that set piece and in that moment where he just kind of flicks away drifts over to

that left-hand side and just finds himself a yard of space grabbing bates lays the ball into his path

it was just a really coolly taken finish.

Again, it was a proper strikers finish.

And then it just changes West Ham's output them. Automatically, they think, right, we've got to get out a little bit. We've got to get up this pitch and we've got to try and take the game to Liverpool. And I think that just suited us. It allowed Liverpool to continue playing the game that we wanted to play ultimately. and they just fed into our game plan more and more.

So I think for that first moment,

I give them a lot of credit for it.

But even more credits I give him is for the way that we was able to round off the game I think it was for Cody Gack Poe's goal and it was at a time and saying in Combs with JuCdee it feels weird to be three nil up at half say, and it feel like there's still something in this game. And long behold, it wasn't very long before Seuch-pops up with a consolation goal, and it's 3-1. All of a sudden, the game felt more nervy than it really should have done at that point.
