And I know I sure enjoyed my break.

However, we did have some breaking news on Good Friday, and because the loop team here

is the most talented, hardworking, dedicated group of them all, the FDA Miffrapristone reversal case

broke on Friday. And I remember trying to stay off my phone and I got that alert. And of course, I had to go to Slack to see what people were saying.

And I just turned the phone around and showed my wife and just said, the amount of lives that are going to be saved by this, even if there's fights over it is just unbelievable.

I think that some people have described this case is almost bigger and more important than the Dobbs decision.

That's up for debate, but we have all the details on that for you here.

And Erica, I know you spent some time writing over that period of time.

Could you just run us through some stats of the case itself and what happened over the weekend?

Sure.

So I'm going to focus on the adverse effect that the

abortion pill, Mifipristone has on women because we've already covered in great detail

the legal implications of the case, the ins and outs of the FDA approval process. And we'll get

into that a little bit. But I would point everyone back to my interview with Eric

Baptist, who was Senior Counsel from Alliance Defending Freedom on this case for all of that,

if you're really interested.

But here's some interesting facts about the drug Mipipristone itself.

And the fascinating thing is that these statistics go back to the early 2000s.

We've known for a very long time that this drug is not safe for women to take.

And what you'll hear in the news right now, all the mainstream media, the line is the FDA approved this 20 years ago.
