The Supreme Court is decided to take up a major abortion case next term.

It's just been announced that could limit Roe v. Wade.

The Supreme Court agreed to take up this major abortion case next term concerning a

controversial, what many referred to in the media's controversial Mississippi law, that

banned most abortions after 15 weeks, rekindling a potentially major challenge to Roe v. Wade

at the majority conservative court.

Now Mississippi led the way with their 15 week abortion ban.

You can't have an abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

Governor then Governor Phil Bryant signed into law this bill in 2018.

It made exceptions only for medical emergencies or cases in which there is a severe fetal abnormality,

but not for instances of rape or incest.

Federal judge had missed to be struck down the law in November of 18.

And the fifth U.S. Circuit Court repeals upheld that ruling in December of 19.

After being rescheduled for the court's consideration in conference over a dozen times, the case

could present a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade.

Now that 1973 Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion nationwide prior to viability

is the key misunderstanding in this country of Roe v. Wade.

Viability was what was argued in Roe v. Wade.

If the child cannot survive, then it's not viable.

Therefore they said you could abort it.

Now viability, which can occur around 24 weeks of pregnancy, that is what they said.
