John and I are going to talk a little bit about that.

But then we're going to get into a mailbag.

Thanks to everyone, overwhelming response of questions for our solicitation

on Twitter. So we're going to have a ton of stuff to talk about, hit on some rookie extensions,

some trade ideas, all the other stuff that you want to talk about as we get into the opening

night for 26 teams this evening. But first off, John, I talked about it a ton on Dunkdown Prime,

but just your overall thoughts on the two games last night. Well, I mean, there was only one of

them that we could really call a game, right? But that Laker Clipper game was interesting to me

because it's opening night and the lakers

look like they were on a back to back like they did you just didn't feel their pace at all the

way you did last year um and i i just thought they looked kind of sluggish at times especially

obviously in the beginning of the game uh but even then in the second half, too,

LeBron didn't really put his imprint on the game, which is something that I think we'll

probably see a lot of in the regular season, actually. It's one of the reasons I was kind of

down on their regular season win total. Encouraging for the Clippers to see Paul George play so

well after he struggled some in the playoffs last year. Yeah, for him to be the best player on the floor last night, obviously, it's not going to

erase his playoff demons, but he did everything that he could do at least for one night. And

yeah, the Clippers, I'm sure, were a lot more motivated to win. Ring Night is often a weird time for a lot of teams. They played 11 guys 10 minutes or more.
