Great to be back in person here on a Monday, January the 19th, and Hubert Davis live.

We're going to talk Carolina basketball for the next hour with the head coach of the Tar Heels.

We'll look back to the West Coast trip. The heels made last week, long trip for the Tar Heels.

We'll look ahead. Carolina right back in action coming up Wednesday night at 7 o'clock in the Smith Center versus Notre Dame.

We'll look at that. We have a bunch of questions to get to.

And actually, excuse me, actually, if you're listening tonight, the last segment of the show is going to be pre-produced.

We've done a bunch of content here recently about the first win in the Smith Center. That was 40 years ago from yesterday.

Carolina just picked up its 500th win in the Smith Center and its last home game against Wake Forest, 40th anniversary of the first win in the building. I've done a bunch of podcast work on that, some video work. I hope you've seen both on the TV show through our YouTube channel as well. But you're going to hear some of the interview with Neil Harrell. Some of you guys might know Neil, former in the Rams Club. Neil was a fundraiser. Yeah, you can clap for Neil. Why not? He's a good guy. Former fundraiser with the Rams Club. He helped raise the money to build the Smith Center. You're going to hear some of that conversation with Neil about that process and how they did that back 40 plus years ago. So that's at the very end of the show, but of course we have a bunch to do before that.

They were out in California from Monday until Saturday, came up short against Stanford and Cal.

And, Coach, we spoke after the Cal game, as we always do.

And you said it was some real on-court adversity that your team is facing right now within the season.

And you said it was time for them to respond, kind of take us through what's been going on

and how you hope your team moves forward after this tough week.
