I'm going to buy the New Orleans Saints to win out.

They've already won two games in a row. They have played major spoiler roles in the

NFC South the last two weeks, beating the Buccaneers last week, and this past Sunday beating the

Panthers who had an opportunity to take the NFC South lead. Instead, both the Bucks and Panthers are 7 and 7. The Saints have the Jets

this week, the Titans the week after, and they close at Atlanta. If they win out, that's a five-game

win streak. Let me mention, too, it would be eight games in which they had opportunities to win

football games. They swept the Panthers here over the last four or five weeks. Why is New Orleans

with Kellan Moore in his first year, Brandon Staley is the defensive coordinator, why have they

become a tough out? Two reasons. One, their

defense is outstanding. Chase Young playing very well. He had a monster sack late in the game

against Bryce Young in a game where they were down 17 to 7 came back back, tied it, and then won the game, 20 to 17.

Chase Young had three tackles for loss in the game, multiple pressures and a sack.

They've also got Jonathan Bullard, they've got DeMario Davis, they've got good players, Cam Jordan.

They're good defensively.

They're well-coached with Brandon Staley.

That's one thing he can do defensively.

And then Tyler Shuck, the rookie, second round pick from Louisville, 6'5-220.

You know, got an opportunity six or seven weeks ago to start playing,

and he's played well in recent games, very well.
